Lolo (ロロ Roro), also known as Roro and King Lolo, is the eponymous main character and protagonist of the Eggerland series. According to the Adventures of Lolo game manual, Lolo is "not blessed with strength of agility but possesses great courage, high IQ, and a lot of patience." In addition, he is stated to have great musical ability in the Game Boy game. He is the love interest of Princess Lala, whom he eventually marries and subsequently fathers a child, Prince Lulu.
Eggerland Series[]
Lolo is featured in all games of the series as a playable character. In the Eggerland Mystery games, he is tasked by Edena God with rescuing Princess Lala from from King Egger. In Adventures of Lolo 3 Lolo and Lala team up to restore their friends who have been turned to stone.
Kirby Series[]
The character of Lolo was reused in the games Kirby's Dream Land, Kirby Super Star, and Kirby Super Star Ultra as Lololo, one of the bosses of the Castle Lololo stage along with Lalala. In addition, Lololo and Lalala appear as one boss in Kirby's Avalanche. According to the Kirby's Dream Land game manual, rather than being romantically involved with Lalala, Lololo is instead her twin brother.
Lololo, renamed Fololo, also appears in the anime Kirby: Right Back at Ya! as a supporting character. Rather than being a prince and princess, Fololo and Falala represent the masculine and feminine aspects of a creature called Fofa, who was once magically split apart and now can never be put back together. Notably, Fololo and Falala possess the ability to float around, unlike their video game counterparts.
Lolo, along with Lala and Lulu, also appears in the German Club Nintendo comic, Kirby: The Detective. Here, he and Lala invite Kirby to eat at Balla Balla, where they live.
