Eggerland: Meikyu no Fukkatsu (エッガーランド 迷宮の復活, Eggerland: The Labyrinth's Revival) is a puzzle game developed by HAL Laboratory and released in 1988 for the Nintendo Famicom in Japan.
Overview[]
Meikyu no Fukkatsu retains most of the elements introduced in Eggerland 2. Though it retains the grid structure from its predecessor the level progression is much more linear, with most levels only having an entrance and an exit. It features a total of 149 levels. In some rooms the player can find the Buddha, who gives the player various hints.
This game introduces the Magic Bell and Special Key items, required to open the path to the secret levels where the player can find the Four Gods, required to reach the end levels. The Map item from the previous game is also available, along with a Raft item unique to this game.
